Sara Wood is a Licensed Professional Counselor and counselor supervisor who provides in-person counseling in Fairbanks and telehealth throughout Alaska. She works with children, teens, and adults and uses individualized, trauma-informed care. Her clinical methods include Brainspotting, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Before founding Aurora Counseling in 2022, she worked as a school counselor and served for five years as the head counselor at another Fairbanks clinic.
