Every human being needs to feel connected, to experience and know that they matter, and to feel like they belong. When we experience a deficit of our needs, it tends to create anxiety, depression, pain, shutting down, avoidance, addiction, shame, hurt, resentment, defensiveness, co-dependency, and many more struggles. I use a holistic approach and when working with clients, we explore them as a whole person: mentally, emotionally, spiritually (existential, purpose, or a higher power), professionally, physically, and relationally. We are complex beings and have incredible value and so the sacred therapeutic space should reflect that.
